Sounds interesting, let’s hope the move goes well and it is stable.

Take your time 🙂 Better to take the time to do it right, than rush it and spend weeks patching it up

We will endevaour to get the forum back online as soon as possible. The time will depend on how long it takes to import the current database into the new version. We will keep you updated on this URL (forum.keypublishing.co.uk)

Webbie,

I suggested Snitz forum system when you first mentioned the changed on our old dc board!
On another note, to help your workload etc would you ever think about putting users with proven reputations for being good on the forums and not getting involved in any fights as Mods. One person I would suggest is Renfrew, and also KabirT (one of the longest still going members for the forum if not THE LONGEST going)
I think this would give us a more community feel instead of just a Webmaster being the mod. GD would be too tricky to mod without being biased etc so we should leave that one to you but one or two forum members from each forum should be allowed to mod that forum under strict instructions from you.
This isnt me trying to be a mod. Id rather see Renfrew and Kabir as they keep cool heads.

cheers for the info.

Seems so long ago, but you could actually rate other members with positive, neutral or negative feedback which was good (sometimes) and a few other smaller features which have slipped my mind completely!
All I can remember is that the older one (in my opinion) was better than the current one.
Just going off-topic Airliner owner, when you fly to Bangkok, where will you be staying? I’m there at the moment, so slightly curious :p
By: Airline owner - 29th March 2004 at 14:22
what was that like
By: T5 - 29th March 2004 at 14:21
Sounds quite exciting, but not sure why the webmaster has stopped any of us replying to his post
Perhaps to bring back the the features of the old, old forum would be good. Ratings etc.
