Uribel Gliders

Hi Everyone,

I’m searching for any kind of information about these gliders (the V-tail variant).

Any info about them (owners, history, photos, …) would be very much appreciated.

I’m trying to find out whether it would be achievable to restore one that is quite heavily damaged..

Thanks in advance 😉

Only one I ever saw was the famous Uribel based at Aosta in Italy with the rather dubious registration that certainly wouldn’t have been allowed in the Uk.
Unfortunately it was in a hanger and only viewable through a hole in the cladding so I didn’t get a picture.

Now there’s a competition. Guess the registration and find an acceptable method to describe your guess on a public forum! My guess is that the registration was I- plus a certain Anglo-saxon four letter verb which means to copulate and rhymes with luck. If so I bet many a red blooded Italian male pilot would have liked to make that statement as he rode the thermals.
