I think IB still do BCN-JFK, via MAD – DL is the only present non-stop BCN-USA service. Even that is seasonal (via MAD in winter)

That’s correct – A320 BCN-MAD then A346 MAD-JFK. A number of other transatlantic services to Latin America (e.g. BCN-MAD-EZE) use the same arrangement.

They sound like they have good customer relations Dublin Spotter 🙂

Maybe next time i think about going to MCO i’ll think about going with US Airways, MAN-PHL-MCO, because i didn’t like the Continental hub, EWR.

US Airways International routes are the only routes that are actually pfofitable in the current climate. They have now got southwset out of PHL to contend with on domestic routes, however might as well have a monolopy out of PHL on international routes/

Flew with them lat year from DUB via PHL to MCA, as because the girlfriend any myslef were courteous at check in, we were upgraded the full journey to MCO. And what I really like about them was, the flight wasa delayed by 1 1/2 hours in DUB, whihc meant we had already missed the connecting flihht to MCO, they upgraded the aircraft on the second MCO flight to accomadate all the transfers from our flight, whihc in Summer was nearly the whole aircraft.

I hope they pull out of chapter 11 this time and I also hope they upgrade all the International equipment to A330’s as the A330 in US colours is “Nice”.

and i thought US Airways were in chapter 11!

Not sure if it is a good or bad move by US Airways
