US Navy future long range SAMs

The SM-6 ERAM will supplement the RIM-156 Standard in 2010 but what’s the next step for Terminal Missile Defense? I’ve read somewhere they plan to use a hit-to-kill version of the ERAM or a navalized PAC-3 called Pegasus(?). Maybe a navalized THEL is also a possibility? Concerning Boost Phase Defense, USN is considering a naval KEI.
Does someone know the range envelope of the SM-6 btw?
