Perhaps this thread would have raised more interest if it had been about the outcome of the this years congressional elections in November for the house and senate rather than about the 2008 presidential elections? They very important to the remaining term of the Bush administration and the outcome will impact U.S. foreign policy to some degree which will be of interst to even some non-Americans.

Agree. However I think my post was dead – On topic. The process of who you get to vote for is garbage. Neither party ( R or D ) elected will work to solve any real issues that need work. Voting a R or D into office = nothing significant will happen.

America came fully into WW2 because they were attacked…they declared War on Germany because of its allegiance to Japan and because it was the RIGHT thing to do!!! It wasnt anything to do with europe crying to america for help…at least THAT president had some decency in his soul!!!!

Who do you guys think will be the repub. and democratic nominees going through the primaries and what pairings should do well .

For me , i would think a Rudy G and C. Rice pairing (either way ) or a Mccain and Rudy G pairiing should appeal to republicans ( again going by todays standard cuz a lot can happen when the candidates start campaigning ) . I want bill frist to jump in cuz he is one of the most inteligent senators out there if you have ever had the opp. to talk to the dude .

For the Dems i would go with gore , clinton ( again either way) or a edwards biden pairings ..

Both professional Republicans and professional Democrats are rank traitors. Neither have the interest of what America should be at heart. Both are selling out the country whole sale with a big “For Sale” sign on our map. On one side you have war cheerleaders rooting for useless expeditionary warfare over useless dirt, and the other an “opposition” party that lets the other party run right over the consititution. Most have never served a day in uniform and the few that have, most were REMFs. Even serving being a combat vet doesn’t seem especially helpful as people like Duke Cunningham are criminals. McCain thinks we should all speak Mex and have no border security against a 4th generation warfare enemy by-any-other-name pouring through our south border.
Most are bought and paid for by special interest, some even foreign special interest. Both are putting us in a path that will put our country so far down the crapper it will take a swan dive to save it. One party wears a hat with a red star, hammer and sickle, and the other wears a hat with a combination corporation logo and swastika. Both waste an insane amount of tax dollars with huge federal programs that offer neither security, good infastructure or other worth. Be completely delusional and vote for a D or an R and don’t worry, Walmart will save us all. D and R = enemy of the state.
