The death of Bin Laden did get me thinking about this again.
When the “Beast of Kandahar” was revealed, the general consensus was that it was operating out of Afghanistan and looking into Iran (at missiles and reactors).
Although not the stealthiest design, the RQ-170 was an indication that the US had stealthy assets in a theatre where no obvious threat existed.
How much would Pakistan be aware of operations of this type and could it ( and systems like it) have been involved in intelligence gathering in the hunt for Bin Laden?
