News sources are reporting that Secretary of Defense Gates has asked Air Force Chief of Staff Michael Moseley and Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne to resign. Moseley, a general, is the Air Force’s top uniformed officer; Wynne is the top civilian official.
This comes after Gates expressed displeasure over the allotment of USAF UAV resources in Iraq and a few other incidents (like flying nukes aboard a B-52).
THIS IS A QUESTION, NOT SPECULATION OR RUMOR…
Wonder if the Tanker competition played a part?
(While not the camel’s back, it never good when Congress gripes about anything, warrented or not.)
