USAF, Future Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Capability

What should be the ISR Roadmap for the USAF given the E-10 cancellation and the fact that the services have nothing PLANNED at the moment. A replacement (eventual) would benefit from fresh ideas and capability now that the E-10 plans is long forgotten. Even with the upgrades and improvements the E3/E8’s have to be replaced eventually and therefore new development in sensors, integration etc is warranted … What should be a “TARGET” capability for the future. Unmanned, Manned-Unmanned Mixed fleet (Like the USN)..What platforms ( 737 vs 767 vs larger 777 platform) etc … I imagine that the USAF would not come out with formal request for information (early feelers) until the JSF acquisition is stabilized, economic downturn (DOD) is better understood and the LRS-B matured…
