U.S. Military Helicopter Crew Swoops Beach To Ogle Sunbathers!?

BARI, Italy — A U.S. military helicopter crew reportedly swooped low over a packed Italian beach at Bari, Italy, so they could ogle the sunbathers.

The American embassy in Rome admits several sunbathers were slightly injured by flying umbrellas and beach furniture as the helicopter swooped over them.
BBC News’ World Service reported that the crew also waved at the people below.

U.S. and Italian officials have launched a joint inquiry into the alleged incident.
Reports say the helicopter was on a NATO mission enroute from Germany to the Balkans.
The alleged incident took place over southeastern Italy
