Use of aircraft for anti piracy ops.

Instead of deploying a more frigates and destroyers to cover the incresaing threat to merchant shipping from pirate attacks, how about deploying a CBG with its 90 or so aircraft plus helicopters, to escort ships throught the Gulf of Aden. They would be more able to react more quickly to calls for help from merchant ships, and they could also cover a much wider area with far less personnel. I’m not saying that in this situation CTF 150 should be got rid of, as they are still needed for boarding and policing operations. But the job of actually killing pirate ships could be done more easily by aircraft (a couple of cannon rounds would be all that is required).
