USS Harry S Trumann CVN 75

Hello to everybody

Lets me introduce my self My name is Wim, I live in Belgium I dont have to work anymore as I am early retired. My hobbies are collecting ships photo’s of merchant ships, Aircraftcarries and I like the British Navy however on a reduced way.

I like the British Leander type and the destroyers This because family of us has been sailing on them Beside that I do make scale models, I love to walk with my 5 dogs all Golden Retrievers and when wheater allows riding with my horse Eres a Norwegian Fjord horse

I have been growing up in a sea going family I have been also at sea for 5 yrs with Nedllloyd. My father was 24yrs captain of a Dutch Chemical tanker
For this reason I look for some photo’s of the Harry S Trumann firstly for my own collection secondly There has been several orange painted tankers alongside to load waste water for disposal ashore I look for shots of the Trumann included the tankers along side

Who has seen this and took photo’s and can I have them please. You should make me the happiest man in Belgium ( lucky its a small country)

Each photo is welcome

thanks in advance and regards

Wim

Last night on The Military Channel I saw the first part of a 2-part documentary on the construction of CVN-77 USS George H.W. Bush.

Very impressive weapon of war……….

That is impressive, now only if they did a documentary on that !.

Well, they did several over the years. So, I have little doubt they do one on the USS Gerald R. Ford. Yet, they are just starting contruction so its going to be a while…………:(

Actually, they did a couple… one in the early 1990s focussing on life aboard an operational CVN and the one on the building of HT.
