Raptor has been given TVC even though it never intends to mix it up at close range. it has big control surfaces already to aid in manouver.
Is the “real” utility of TVC lying in increased manouverability in the thin air at high altitude where the conventional control surfaces become sluggish ?
i.e. a Raptor/Mki would run rings around a tired panting F16 at 45kft ?
right or wrong ?
