V22s over Central London.

I’ve been looking for any reason why 2 V22 Osprey’s flew quite low and close together south to north twice over my house in Islington this evening, 16th July.
I was just lighting the homebase instant BBQ at about 6.30 pm, and had to rush for a camera. Got them on three passes….but wouldn’t you know it the battery is now dead and the charger is elsewhere till next weekend. I’ll post them then if anyone is interested. I can’t be absolutely sure of the variant as they came and went in couple of seconds each pass. There has been nothing on news sites.

There is some kind of fancy motorshow next week at Excel in Docklands so they are probably a stunt, or John wayne looking for Cumbria!
