The Vintage Aircraft Club was blessed with some decent weather for a change, and around 30 visiting aircraft dropped in at Turweston today.

Thanks Arm Waver, good to see you again. I really like your photograph of the departure queue in your flickr set. It was a real scramble with crews departing in all directions. We’ve got a “3-line whip” out for the October meeting and I hope we might get at least 4 Airtourers if the weather behaves.

….Slightly disappointed that you didn’t feature the two Airtourers though. We would have been three but one owner got stuck at the back of his hangar and was late arriving.
We managed 3 by the end of the day.
I did try to sort the aeroplanes out into vague themes and glad the Moths and the Tipsy’s worked.
Final total was 44 visitors on the day too.
