Well just to let you know that following the troubles of last year the three “public” events left in our calendar are as follows:
April 23rd – White Waltham – PPR
September 18th – Turweston – PPR – ground displays at very least… 😮 and possibly only a few invited VAC members types due to the current restrictions.
October 29th – Bicester TBC – PPR
Please note that flying in PPR is required and will be club members only/priority – want to join in? Then join up…
Please note that those who come by road should not expect access airside as in the past. Especially at the first two listed.
Been an awkward sort of year. But are trying our best and we are working to sort out a better 2006.
Cheers one and all

The event is on. (I’ve not been told otherwise and I would be if there was a change)
It is the 23rd April
It is PPR once again (which could be why retracted by some)
It is being shared with BWPA’s 50th event.
Hope that is of some help to you

Mr Waver,
Can you confirm if the VAC White Waltham event is still happening? It was included on various Forthcoming events listings, but seems to have been retracted.

Arm Waver,
do you realise that the VAC website still has the April event as the 16th – not the 23rd as mentioned above.

I asked last night and it was advised that you should contact WW directly for the April do. Hope that helps (?)

Are stalls still welcome – brought one to Bicester with no problems but is WW ok with that ?

Cannot give a definate answer… I know for Jan & Feb it was put as L10 landing fee and L15 take off fee (membership cost) and people were happy to do that.
I think may be a waiver depending on what type the aircraft is but not 100% on that.
WW event is alongside BWPA anniversary event and I believe that WW were concerned with the parking space and numbers…
As for numbers we had 60+ booked for each of Jan & Feb
Sorry not much help really…

Bar Turdy, what are the chances of a non-member ringing for PPR on the day and getting it?
Hope making things members-only can sustain the numbers…
