Since none of the experts have covered this event, here’s a few amateur shots from the Vintage Aircraft Club’s Fly-In (straight from the camera).
Many thanks to all involved for the usual friendly and relaxed day.

My vote goes for the Bucker, sharp looking plane.

Lovely shots.
It was a great day – I will have to upload mine (some are on the VAC’s Facebook page). – Mine are just snaps as I was “working”.
37 visitors logged and a real variety too.
Mr. Seeley also owns one or two other V&C types to be found at EGBT.

Absolutely great. Seems like a nice collection of types visited on the day.

Some very decent out of the camera pics Dave and glad you had a good day.
Agree, the Whitney is a nice catch. Thanks for posting the images.
What time did the sky brighten up?
Cheers
Martin

Excellent pix. Love the C-47 and the Bu-133.
Thank you.

Nice one! I’ve flown in formation with G-BBND! (I was flying a musketeer)
I photographed G-ERIC at cranfield on the weekend too.

The Whitney Straight is indeed very special, and certainly a flier. It’s rebuild (by Ron Souch) was completed a couple of years ago, and it is based at Turweston by owner Richard Seeley. I believe he also co-owns the Travel Air D-4000 pictured (flown in by the same Mr. Souch).

Excellent, some lovely vintage aircraft in there! The Whitney Straight is something special – is it a flier?
