I think Philip may have been refering to the Sywel Vampire not the MAM airframe.
Yes, you are right…………Sywell T-11 is only a cockpit section………….yawn

The Midland Air Museum’s T.11 Vampire outside is more or less complete. They do have a T.11 cockpit section in a workshop.
I hope this helps.

You could try making your own if you have an old one as a pattern. Get some latex from a friendly police forensic lab and use that as an external mould, then use `plaster-of-paris` for the internal bit !
Try an autojumble for ws wipers …….Syc.

Are you sure? Could swear i saw wings and tail on it, seperated from the fuselage but by the aircraft, maybe they’ve moved them.

Cool didn’t know Sywell had a Vampire T.11, love the things! Try contacting Midlands Air Museum, they have a Vampire T.11 in their ‘graveyard’, doesn’t look like their going to restore it, appears complete though
just to clarify
it is a cockpit section only…………………..not a complete airframe

I’m afraid I can’t help. But if you end up with spare gaiters, please let me know as I am looking for two as well. I’m also looking for other parts. Please have a look at my website. www.vampirexh313.co.uk
