Hi,
Would anyone happen of have an Elevator Trim Indicator for a single seat Vampire (Item 26 on the following image http://aviation.watergeek.eu/images/vampire/vampire_cockpit_centre.jpg )?
We could also use a nice oxygen valve (item 37), de-icer pump (item 40) and a RI Compass Indicator (item 32). Just working on the panel restoration currently and these few bits to complete.
Thanks.

Ah! de Havilland…..
I have a complete throttle box somewhere, which may have the required parts. I’ll have a look.

Mk 1 yes
The original panels being done are for a 9, but I’d like to build up a contrasting set (just for display at home) for an F1, hence the need for a compass.
We have all the throttle end parts (I think) for the elevator trim gauge, but do need the parts which mount on the panel. Also need the Bowden cable.
Thanks

My pilots notes show nothing in the DI compass position.

What edition is your copy Bruce?
I have two sets. The 2nd edition copy has the DI in this position, however the 3rd edition one doesnt.
So both are correct 🙂

Hang on, you’re looking at the wrong panel set up. That one is for an F1, and is quite different. My pilots notes show nothing in the DI compass position.

Yes, to compass indicator; didn’t you have an Oxy reg off me?
The trim thing is quite complex. It attaches to the throttle box via a Bowden cable.
