We are after a pair of lower seat rail brackets for “Vera”, our Vampire T.11 project at Hooton Park. When originally examined around five years ago when the aircraft was at the RAF Millom museum, there was found to be over ten gallons of water sloshing around in the cockpit of the old girl, which is why, now the seats are out, the brackets have been found to have corroded away to almost nothing.
If anyone has a pair going spare in fair condition we’d be glad to hear.

This is what’s left of the original bracket on the bottom of the port side seat rail – next to nothing!

Anything that would be usable will be great, Bruce. They won’t be seen under the seat but it would be nice to have an original part(s).

Thanks for the thought. I might be able to extract one from the pod I am cannibalising, but it isn’t in brilliant condition. Also spent much time underwater sadly. The other one is broken.
