Vampire T.11 windscreen side windows

May have been mentioned before but do the front side windows differ in size ? The left side looks larger (better visibility for the instructor ?) Need a Vampire expert to confirm as unable to measure full size aircraft.

Guys, You are going to have a good laugh ,I am building the excellent Airfix T.11 kit and was wondering about the window sizes ,but thank you as i did not realise both side windows could be opened.

Both quarterlights fold open as DV windows on the T.11.

I was wondering at first if T-21 may have had a T.11 and an NF.10 pane as the latter didn’t have the opening quarterlights.

Plenty of Vampires at Newquay now (CAF) … … …

Only One Vampire (ex Swiss T.55) the other twin boomers involved are Venoms. The Vampire, one airworthy Venom and a further pod are at Newquay. The collection’s other flyable Venom is presently at N.W. 🙂

No, they are the same size. NF10 had an asymmetric windscreen, but T11 is all nice and square.

Vampire details

Plenty of Vampires at Newquay now (CAF),and you can walk all around them, and no doubt take measurements if you ask.
