Vampire T11 takes to the air !

Ok with help :highly_amused:

The wings have been sold, but yet to be picked up, not sure if someone on the forum bought them but they need to be picked up ASAP. This aircraft could be scrapped very soon, if anyone wants any parts please let me know now!

IF anyone is interested in The Hunter, Vampire, Seahawk at Birlingham get in contact with me. I must stress only VERY VERY Serious people get in contact, these aircraft must be sold as a complete airfames no parts will be removed, the buyers must remove at their own expence. Offers will be considered but they must be sensible!

Seems that Jon H has the Vamp sorted, and maybe a conflict of opinoins between Mr Revill Snr and Jnr on the fate of the aircraft. Will try and find out more next week.

Hi Jon, been up there a couple of time recently as I know the owners. It was said to me that the wings had been sold, but they had heard nothing for weeks? I know the Son was keen to scrap it, so just get in touch. Could just be a misunderstanding. The other aircraft could be availible to the right place for a sensible price, we are putting the feelers out to see what interest there is, but they are not going to go for a couple of grand! Any offer will have to be well above scrap value.

XE979

I’ve got the front of it in my shed, but there was very, very little of any use on it.

I’d be interested in anything left over, but Jon is in the chair!

Hmmm….ok.

I agreed to buy the whole thing as is on behalf of a group some weeks ago. I have been dealing with the owners directly and they have my contact details. It was just pending getting transport in place.

I best go make some phone calls I think!

Jon
