Hi all, Went out to Victoria via Vancouver a few weeks ago for a weeks work. Here are some of the shots, I hope you like them.
FL390 over Northern Canada
My connection to Victoria was a brand new Jungle Jet
Helijet operates from Victoria to Vancouver

A few from the museum near Victoria Airport
Some modified Dakotas were parked up
Does anyone know anything about this Dakota and the square tail?

Victoria International (all shot through thick tinted glass)

JAL 744 at Vancouver
Finally photographing to photographer, what Myrtle Avenue looks like from seat 13A of a BA 744
Next some Beavers and Otters.
All the best

The square tail Daks are all ex US Navy. Im not too sure why the modification was done.

Jetstream,
Thanks for the info, I thought it was odd and could not understand the reasoning behind the new vertical stabiliser.
Cheers

The “square tail” is a C-117 i believe, which is a development of the DC-3 family.
