Further to the airliners I posteda few weeks ago, a few floatplanes from the last few days in Vancouver. The weather wasn’t the best but managed some shots. Some are taken at the downtown seaplane base, the others at YVR south terminal. Anyway, here they are.

Seeing those brings back happy memories of my trips to Vancouver. I was lucky on my last trip as I booked for the city sightseeing flight but they dropped the ball and overbooked the plane so they offered me Vancouver-Victoria return for the same price. Needless to say I jumped at the chance. I have to say it was a new experience for me to fly through the overhead of an international airport at 3000 feet watching airliners landing on one side of our plane and taking off on the otheer.

Superb, must have been quick to get ‘GOBC taking off from both sides! 😀
Seaplane heaven, apart from Lake Hood.
