VARIG

As an aviation fan, seeing any airline crumble is a sad event for me.
But when one that has prospered for 75 years goes belly up, its a down right tragedy.

I stumbled across a new thread on A.net (Click here to see it) which began with the following pictures. Its saddens me to see a once gracefull fleet now sitting silent. Will Varig fly again? Who knows. Chances are the fleet will slowly be absorbed into other airlines for cheap and those aircraft that are too old will be ripped apart. Farewell Varig, lets hope this is not your final hour.
