Hi all
Been stupidly busy lately, and filing the CF cards up, not getting a chance to edit stuff, so, have done a quick edit on the contents.
First up Luxembourg Airport, a perimeter trip, managed to find a couple of decent spots (r/w use dependant)
Sorry for the haze in these, real hot day i visited:
the gate guard:
Hazy shot of the main ramp:
the rest:

Also dropped into Charleroi, but, could find no good spots to shoot around the perimeter, and Lille.. just nothing of note in at the time.
An early morning hazy visit to LCY:

A visit to Edinburgh:

Hi Widdy
I thought the Fokker was the Dutch Royal one, good spot!. No idea about the Slovak AF,(No idea what a Codling is either?? 😮 )could’nt be bothered wandering further along the perimeter fence to get a better view of the main ramp (lazy sod!!)

Owdo Scotty. I see the Dutch royals must have been on a wee jolly to Luxembourg. And what’s that, a Slovak Air Force Codling lurking there too ?

Nice post mate – been very busy I see! 🙂
That Air Blue is along way from home – is that a regular thing? And also whats the story with all the RAF hercy birds at Cambridge?
Busy busy busy… in fact just about to head out the door in a few mins to go back down to LHR for an overnight job, hopeful to hit MAN tomorrow after a drop in Warrington see if i can catch any of the footy traffic (got my mortgage sorted for the AVP’s new entry pricing!! )
I think the Air Blue is a regular at MAN, tbh, i had no idea what it was when it landed till i saw the AP- reg.
Cambridge i believe, does maintenance/storage on Hercs, thee was also a Saudi AF (i think) one there too.
Allen: 😀 😀 never actually noticed the reg on the 125 hehe well spotted!
Thanks for comments all.

The reg on that HS 125 is the best one I’ve seen for ages
I’m with you on that, Allen! 😀

The reg on that HS 125 is the best one I’ve seen for ages and that Ryanair 737 is either very small or it’s just passed through the largest landing beacons in the world !:D

LOL i got very lucky with that,Arrived at the airport, went immediately to that awesome fish and chip shop just up from the GAT for dinner drove to the GAT ate my fish, this landed, shot it, and headed straight back to the M1:D 6 minutes spent in total at LBA!! unfortunate light mind you, but, worth the long wander off the M1.
I believe they are pulling out of LBA??
I’m glad you enjoyed your very brief stay, Scotty! There are actually two awesome fish and chip shops there, so you can’t really go wrong!
As I understand it Shaheen arn’t pulling out of LBA through choice. It seems the lease on the A310 is up and they’re trying to find another aircraft but if they can’t, the service will be either suspended or cancelled.
I’m spending more time at MAN than I am my own local at the moment. I really MUST make an effort to see the A310 at LBA before it’s too late. It’s an aircraft I’ve had the chance to fly on twice and as it isn’t one we see too often anywhere, I’m a little embarrassed I haven’t made more of an effort to see it at my home airport yet!

After Heathrow, a trip to luton to catch the last few rays:

Manchester on thursday night on way back down to the big smoke
Where i discovered a HUGE chip on the INSIDE of my Bigma lens, luckily, for now i can see no evidence on the shots, but, i am fearing taking the lens in for repair!!!

Spent some time at Heathrow again on friday morning but, quite nasty weather, so, wont bother with the shots i took.
Next a visit to White Waltham, where i was lucky enough to see a ME109 replica head out on a sortie.
Shots can be found at:

After this i finally made it up to Wolverhampton Airport, a very accessable, friendly wee drome, with some good inmates.
