Hi all,
Can anyone give me some advice on any sort of microphone or headset to buy so i can communicate on on Vatsim?
Please also consider a 16 year old without a jobs (just a paper round) budget.
**And also, can anyone give me a website which could plan an international route from the UK which i could also use for making FP’s in FSNav.
Thank you, Ben

If you only have one PC i’d strongly recomend that you use a USB headset as then your FS sound can run through speakers with your headset for ATC!!!

Try the AVC download from vatsim.net and any microphones should work with vatsim

Not too sure on headsets, best to try the usual hardware places like dabs etc.
Regarding routes, providing you are flying BA routes www.bavirtual.co.uk has plans for all its routes. www.ais.org.uk has plans for all UK Domestic flights, and http://www.vatsim.net/ has loads of links to other countries FIRs.
It can get a bit confusing, I’ll be online tonight if you wanna run through some things with me 🙂
