VC-10 over Coventry

I noticed a VC-10 over Coventry today, sounded like it did a flyby or may have taken of from Baginton. Does anyone know?

A few months left to go now.

Well, seeing that the only place that an ex-BOAC VC-10 survives is Duxford, that isn’t very likely with their present, somewhat bizarre, curatorial policy.

It would be nice to see an RAF VC10 retired next to a BOAC VC10 somewhere.

Other forums have pics of Bob landing at Brunty. Too hairy to land at Cosford, apparently. Now for the gas axe?

Are you sure? Bob was slated to Go to Cosford as the oldest surviving C1 and indeed first into service at Brize.

XR808 was flown into Bruntingthorpe and retired today. Another one down, three to go!
