This is probably better on the airliner forum but I’ll just test your guys Knowledge first.
This morning whilst dog walking I heard a unusual large aircraft noise and looked aloft to see what appeared to be the normal VC10 (I’m close to BZN so I know VC10’s), high ‘T’ tail, 4 engine pods mounted at tail root etc, however the sound was wrong and it had winglets. It was the right size for a ’10’, the wing shape appeared to be correct, but it was quiet and as I say had winglets.
Any Ideas??

Which direction
As LNSE says it may be a Gulstream of one flavour or another, there was one going into Kidlington this morning at about 8am.
You sure about the engines?

Only thing I can think of is a Gulfstream IV/V – but they only have two engines. Closest thing in looks to a VC-10 is the IL-62 (almost a carbon copy infact – but not winglets), but it wouldn’t be one of them surely.
