This took a little longer than i thought it would but i finally got the 20 or so pics of some of the aircraft i snapped at McCarren, the viewing area was on Sunset Blvd and to those of u unfamilier that is right next o runways 25R and 25L, so here they are, mainly 737s etc…..enjoy 😀
I missed the JAL B744 which took off over our head when we were on our way 😡 and a few others but here they are
1. Alaska Airlines B737 landing on runway 25L, took from a petrol station forecourt
2. America West A320 about to touchdown on 25L
3. America West A320, front view on the approach to 25L
4. America West B752 nearly on 25L
5. American Airlines B752 on approach to 25L
6. Continental Airlines B753 jst departed 19L
7. Delta Airlines B752 nearly on the runway
8. FedEx B727 at the Cargo ramp, you can see the heat haze on this pic, 40 degrees Celsius plus, hot day
9. Mexican B752 departes 19R
10. NWA B752 taxiing to 25R

Ah….. sunny California. I can smell the palms, great shots. I too am off to turn green whilst casually sniffing my bottle of sun lotion. 😀

See, if I’d been there you wouldn’t have had to worry about the heat-haze. Flooding, yes, but definitely not heat-haze.
