£500 is a bargin IMHO for a complete machine, yes it needs work but a great starter project!
Only issue might be the cost of transportation.

Well its not entirely complete, theres no engine for a start.
Also the pod looks to be in very poor condition as is the cockpit interior, not liking either the statement that it was stored outside, corrosion appears rampant.

Whilst nothing is impossible if you sink enough money its probably beyond restoration to flight.
The next question is it viable for restoration to static? Well whilst the Vampire is nice thats a big question.
I think it would make a nice cockpit project but that would be a shame considering it appears to be complete.
