Very late Shuttleworth VJ show thread

Darren, I know what you mean, it took me a week to sort mine out and Rob, you are right about the far end, you get some different shots from down there, I might join you again.

Lovelly shots Niall, like many others, I didn’t spot the SE-5 landing but at least it was controlled, so well done to the pilot! I still havn’t proccesed my shots from this show, I just don’t seem to get any time!

Great shots Niall. Given that gusting cross wind, I’m not surprised at the SE-5a dropping (or raising) a wing at an inconvenient moment. I was gobsmacked at their safely flying so many light wing loading aeroplanes in the conditions. Respect!

If the SE-5a was that lively, just imagine what it must have been like in the Avro Triplane, the 504K or the Cygnet!

I was standing the other side of the pay-booth by the gate, and I didn’t see the SE5a wing-down landing, the shot was pure luck 😀
I have tried a closer crop on the Hind/Hurri shot and that will be posted shortly.
