I know for this I should have gone to j-aircraft.com, but for some reason I cannot log in there, I won’t get beyond the captcha. And I don’t have much to write there, so I think it makes no sense to bother the moderators to log me in.
So I am asking you what do you see here? The source (I forgot which one) said it is Japanese, but gave no further hint.

I was wondering about the name “2MR1” which seemed to be known by myself. So I searched my own picture collection for this. The result was I should blame people which decades ago produced name confusion (knowing it does not help).

The one above I shall store as “Mitsubishi Tobi”. Thanks for your interest.

According to a reverse image search on google, it’s a 1927 Mitsubishi 2MR1 Tobi recce a/c. You might need Google translate.
