Vicker Viscount Survivors

Are any of the surviving Vicker Viscounts still in airworthly? I know that a handful were sold to South Africa in the late 1990’s but I was wondering if any are still flown commerically. I spotted a current picture of former G-OPFI cn170 now regn as 3D-PFI on Airliners.net and it appeared to be in good shape?

Is the Lufthansa Viscount used to train crews on moving aircraft or would it be a runner? used to train aircraft mech.

I agree Steve.

I dont think there are any left flying anywhere in the world. The only one I know that is used is the one in the link below. Used by Lufthansa for ground trainging etc.

I’ll do a bit more of an extensive searc and see what I come up with. 🙂
