Vickers Armstrongs.

After the war, VA continued to trade under their own name until 1960 when they were merged to form BAC. I’m wondering if any Forumites may have had any experience of where VA’s post-war records ended up – or even if they have survived at all. I know that after the war, they disposed of a/c by sale, scrapping or donation. I’m trying to find out if it’s feasable to trace where their disposals went to…? All informed suggestions appreciated. Many Thanks.

Snoops. 🙂

I believe the collection at Brooklands holds some company records, inc some log books, there is someone on the forum here connected to the collection.

I would also try the BAE archive collection at Farnborough.
