does anyone have any information/photos concerning this aircraft which ended its days as a fire training hulk at leeds bradford airport during the 70s and 80s,thanks:cool: 😎 😎

Confirmed by UK serials, d/d 29.9.53, sold to Leeds 21.5.70.

many thanks for the information, i know one of its engines was taken out for inclusion in an aviation engine restoration group led by one robin goodman who apparently took quite a few engines from various sources then didnt aknowledge their owners donating same which upset a few of them but thats sort of par for the course ,anyone heard of this chap:cool: 😎 😎

According to Wrecks & Relics, Varsity WL678 ( ex 115 Sqn, struck off charge 21.5.70) was on the LBA fire dump until it expired, around 1985 – so this is probably your hulk.
