I read on a search result that the nose section of WF408 is/was in Ashford, Kent. Does anyone know if this section is still in existence?
I have just completed viewing an Air Ministry instructional film for Airframe Mechanic/Engine Mechanic titled “First Line Servicing – Airframe and Engine” dated 1952, which features exterior and interior film of WF408 as the aircraft was being serviced.
Thought it may be of interest to the current owner of the mortal remains of WF408 (if they’re still extant)…

I have a picture of WF408, taken at RAF Cosford, on January 12th 1991.
It is sitting outside the Museum as it was then.

Still listed as being in the Ashford area in the latest edition of Wrecks & Relics but no ownership details.

Would also be interested to know if this exists…used to be based with RAF Locking.
