I can’t answer your question regarding the basis of WDM’s Vedette, however the Western Canada Aviation Museum in Winnipeg has an almost complete reproduction, with A/S Lynx engine based on CF-MAG

I wonder if this is a reproduction or more of a full scale model? I chae down links byut didn’t see any indication one way or another.
