Vickers Viscount F-BGNR inquiry?

Hi all,

I know that a Vickers Viscount is alittle off topic in this forum but I was wondering if F-BGNR at Skysport was still for sale? It was looking in Flypast issue (from a few months ago) and I saw a some article about it in the news section.

Does just the fuselage exist now or are do they have the engines and wings also?

I think the Viscount does belong here BC.

Nostalgia time. My first passenger flight on my own (As opposed to a school trip in a Viking to Perpignan – yes a Viking!) was G-ARIR operating the Starways service Liverpool Speke (John Lennon) to London Heathrow and return. Even included a flight deck visit. 🙂

She is dismantled but complete, and was still there when I drove past last weekend. Presumably she is still for sale. She’s in very good condition inside, and the initial intention was I believe to restore her to ground running condition. I think the main problem was finding the time to do it, as Skysport have been involved in a lot of external projects over the past few years which have taken precedence.
