Hi all,
Looking for details of a Vickers Wellesley that came down in the village of Kedington Suffolk, I assume pre 1940.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

This is fantastic feedback gents…thank you.
The newspaper clipping is superb.
Their was an eye witness in my village (Kedington) who sadly died before having the chance to pinpoint the crash site for me. I have a rough idea though. Hopefully will find other villagers that remember the incident.
Thanks again chaps.

Air Britain K File confirms K7732 (lost a wing and crashed) as 29 September 1938. Sgt Ronald Ashley Cowan (26), Sgt Harry Newby (23) and AC2 Peter Asquith Corp (19) all killed.

See http://www.rafcommands.com/archive/03983.php
This gives K7732, No.148 Sqn, 29-9-1939, however the is no entry in Bomber Command Losses Vol.1 for this aircraft so I am wondering if the year is correct, I suspect it may be 1938.
