Vickers Wellington internal photos

Does any one have any internal photos of the layout of a Wellington showing the navigator station and looking aft towards the rear turret.

Thanks

woodspite.

Article attached. The PDF is taken from a bound copy of Flight, so it is what it is.

I have a copy, but you will have to wait another week or so for it as I’m away from home.

Hi All,

As Fargo Boyle states about not having a copy but try thinking outside the box to obtain a copy.

Ebay / Local ATC Squadron / Local museum shop indeed any museum shop that relies on donations ? / The ads page in Aeroplane & Flypast magazines / come to think of it why not drop them a line you never know.

I haven’t got a copy myself, but I was in The Works  in Scarborough yesterday and they were selling the Haynes manual for the Wellington for £7 if that’s any help.

It appears to be available on Scribd. You’d have to sign up with them but there’s a 30-day free trial and you can cancel anytime. It appears you have to upload something too but at least it gives you an option if no-one here has a copy.

I presume that the Flight magazine online archive still isn’t. I persisted with the publisher for over one year before giving up on its ‘manyana’ promises.

Not a photo, but a drawing from The Aeroplane. Any help? Also try the IWM photo collection.

Try googling the Wellington at Brooklands as it’s only half skinned.
