Andre Tempest and the Yorkshire Air Museum will be marking the 20th Anniversary of Victor V-Bomber / K.2 Tanker arriving at the Museum at Elvington on Monday 25th November with a high speed dash down the runway!! It is timed for the braking parachute to be deployed at the exact moment, 14:20pm, that the aircraft touched down on the same date in 1993. An historic moment re captured and not to be missed.
Admission is just at the Museum’s normal admission, however a special Airfield Viewing voucher will be available at £10 per ticket to allow access to a much closer viewing area on the airfield itself. This will contribute to this, and future runs.
The Museum’s Nimrod MR2 XV250 will also make a taxi run prior to the Victor, making a fantastic day out!!
