Saw Lusty Lindy at Elvington show in 2005, brought back some fantastic memories, and the first time my wife and Kids had seen a V Bomber on take off power!

The alloy wheels cleaner we use is……i don’t have a clue! The boss (Andre Tempest) gets it from his motor trading wholesalers as he uses it on a day to day basis in his garage, it just comes in a plain squirty bottle with alloy wheel cleaner on!
For proper corrosion treatment use ACF-50. It may be expensive, but by heck it works. We had a corroded periscope mounting with fluffy stuff all over it, bits of it were fairly deep too. One coat of ACF and the next day it had all gone, leaving a finish that was like new.. now thats a product and a half!

Reading through your diary, you mention the use of Alloy Wheel Cleaner for areas of corrosion on Magnesium Alloy, any particular product? We have tried allsorts (most of them expensive) of products and have yet to find one that really sorts out this problem, we have gone down the route of Keronite but its expensive and they don’t seem particularly interested in one offs, although it comes back like new.
