In 2007 I started researching the history of the 325th Fighter Group after a discussion with my good friend Ralph Gimenez.
I subsequently created three documentaries detailing the history of the group which used film footage and still images that I acquired from many different sources, a significant amount
of which have never been seen before.
Here for the first time is the film footage I acquired (not including the Morris Grayson footage which has a separate upload) showing all the existing footage I have gathered, starting with the P-40’s leaving the deck of
USS Ranger, then onto the P-47 and P-51 era, finally the footage concludes with original 325th Fighter Group Gun camera footage.
I am making this available so everyone can share the history of the 325th Fighter Group, “The Checkertail Clan”
