Could have been a scale model!:D

What scale then? You can see the Schiphol tower in the background, was it filmed there?
Jeez… I’m glad George Lucas doesn’t read this forum. :p

If the aircraft was real the undercarriage would have disintergrated after the second bounce, the tail bent and you’d riding into apron on the engine nacelles, probably on fire.

Great Video, have seen it before but never tire of it. 😀 Love the bit when the brakes are slammed on… 😀 lol!

The latter.
By: Jeanske_SN - 25th June 2004 at 21:30
The answer to that is no. By the way, the elevators impossibly give an input that heavily, and if it would, the nose wheel would be slammed into the bay. And that brake at the end is also of course impossible.
What is this aircraft? It is a real aircraft or a model that is really powered by small jet engines?

Would the airbus FBW system let that happen in real life??
By: Jeanske_SN - 25th June 2004 at 19:00
How big is that aircraft?

Have fun

It is obviously a radio controlled model, but a very well done film. With a sharp eye, one can spot several differences to the full scale A320; mainly around the tail. It looks like a cross between the A320 and ERJ-170…
Have a nice weekend, I am off to Berlin now for a full week of historical expeditions!

The first time i seen it it was used for a beer advert, the plane had the opposing football team on.

A pilot that does this is
A. Having a heart attack
B. Under influence of harddrugs
C. A test pilot, which is the most logical answer!
But is it Iberworld? And why does the a320 FBW system allows such thing?
