Cheers, what’s the parking around the 05 end like?

Park at the terminal and walk along to the station, along a little road (see your map) you pass all the light hangers, TNT hanger and others, FRA especially…….the bridge is the footbridge at the station
EDIT: It’s about 10 mins walk from the terminal (more if you stop for photos of the light/biz stuff – have to take them through the fence, security don’t mind you doing that)

Thanks, looks like you can get some good shots.
Do you just park at the rail station then walk to the bridge?

Cheers DIRECT and Scott.
Do you have any shots from the bridge so I can have a look?

No, the bridge is at the actual station……great shots from there as it looks over to Stands 10-15 and 23 end 🙂

The best spot for photos is at the end of 05, there is a viewing point on the northern side through fence but the field next to it allows shots as the fence is only 3 feet high. It is good in the afternoon and evening.

We’re getting a fair bit of activity this morning already, just seen an Hercules and a couple of other militaries go on finals near Stockton.

Teesside has an airport :-O 😉

The rail station bridge would be perfect as all the airshow moves should park on stands 10-15, and if they’re landing on 23 it will be even better, you can great touchdown shots from there. Might pop up and see you if you come down on the Saturday 🙂

Sorry for a very late reply. Do you think I would be able to see any of the airshow moments?
Thanks for the info.

Not many, although you can get some quite good shots of the light aircraft through the fence next to their respective bases (Hanger 3 East/West)
For the bigger ones, the airport station bridge is pretty good, and the layby on the A67 at the end of 23 is also good……..you might want to go down their and across the rail line into the farmers field to get a better shot at them.
Let me know if you need a timetable
