Vikings in other roles

I didn’t know where to post this so I put it here.

I was wondering if the retired S-3 Vikings could be moded to be be in an ISTAR role in Afgan to compliment the current systems out there and we could buy them to replace the R1 as a temp.

Also would it be possible to get them on the cheap to replace MR2 until MRA4 comes into service.
