Vikings to South America.

Rehashing an old topic of a plane I absolutly love the S-3B Viking.

I just read on Jane’s:

US Navy in bid to ‘grant’ Vikings to customers

The US has proposed transferring S-3Bs at no charge but recipients will assume all future operating and modification costs * South America is regarded as the region with most potential for transferring the aircraft.

Is anyone down that way interested in buying them? Brazil doesn’t need them as they have the Orions and C-295’s, Argentina would be lucky if they can find the money and Chile is busy with other projects!

I would have thought that RoCAF would have been a better customer for these planes or even France in a COD version.
