Vimy commemorative flight to Ireland

Vimy to Fly!
After last night’s successful fund raising event at Brooklands the Vimy is now being prepared for a commemorative flight to Ireland.
Crew training will take place at Duxford next Wednesday (10th) and, all being well, the aeroplane will fly out to Ireland on Thursday 11th. It is due back at Duxford on Monday 15th.
This might be one of your few chances to see the Vimy before it is permanently retired. Several flights are planned for Wednesday at Duxford, including display practices.
