Vintage aircraft and cattle mutilation

I guess its just one of those things that can happen, when you attempt to land on a field.

Pay close attantion around the 0.40 mark….

Looks like the cow had the cow-pat’s scared out of it.

I can just imagine a “far-side” cartoon based on this story: “I was just standing in the field enjoying a bit of grass when all of a sudden BAM……”

🙂 If it was an emergency landing as the report says [fuel blockage] then i don’t suppose they had many choices where to come down.
😀 Poor old Ermintrude ,i bet the cowpat count and greenhouse gases went up in that field 🙂

I had to check the calendar again as I thought is April 1st.

Yes the landing looked unplanned but I agree with Trumper – if you had hit a cow the aircraft would be damaged and out of control.

It looks like a set up as the cow falls like a stone and stays there which gives me the impression it was not real.

But near the end of the film the plane goes through between either electric or telephone poles and does not steer straight and looks unplanned.

🙂 YUM,Steak anyone.How do you smuggle a cow in a biplane 😀
I can’t believe it did’nt damage a lightweight plane. If you hit a deer in a car it becomes a write off very quickly.
