Yes, it’s a Beech 18.
Obviously put there to give some sort of “jungle/bush” atmosphere. It does rather look the part from a 30s film.
Plenty of inexpensive derelict examples about, so no real harm done.
The photos show a later (50s) model, a retired freighter/mail plane with a taller cabin and radar nose.
